Change in plans!

Whoa, I don't know about you but time is moving quite quickly for me over here. How is it already Feb 4th??? For such a short month, I have so many things to plan for! My brother's birthday is Feb 9th. Valentine's Day is on the 14th and my anniversary is on the 20th! So my plan of knitting that lovely tank top in February is busted. It'll have to wait until March. :(

First things first, brother's birthday.

He's really been stepping up his "something ridiculous" game. Usually we find each other the most ridiculous card possible, but for my birthday he got me this super creepy stuffed thing using faux human teeth. See? How creepy is that? How does one compete with that?

My initial thought was to knit him something, but due to time I would probably knit him a hat. I knit him a hat for Christmas. Womp. I could make him another one? Due to timing it wouldn't be anything too exciting or different from what I've already made him.

Ugh.

Next up: Valentine's Day / Anniversary

I think I actually have some plans for these occasions. I've got a couple of things up my sleeves and some quick sewing projects that would be sweet and thoughtful and easy to complete in a sort amount of time. The real question is just how I'm going to wrap it up and give it and in what order. With V-day being a full 6 days in advance of the anniversary.... it's an important decision especially when we are both overly sentimental saps

Sometimes I hate gift giving. I'm really kicking myself in the butt for not thinking about this sooner.
